Dear Performers,
FlightTime Productions is excited to officially announce our Final Open Casting Call for the upcoming world-premiere stage production of Diva Airways: The Rise & Fall, scheduled to debut in Chicago in April 2027!
As we enter the final stages of casting, we are seeking talented, enthusiastic, and dedicated performers to join our growing theatrical company and help bring this exciting original production to life.
We welcome performers from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of theatrical experience who meet the requirements of our available roles.
As the inaugural theatrical production of FlightTime Productions, Diva Airways: The Rise & Fall represents an exciting milestone for our company. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about live theatre, enjoy collaborative storytelling, and are eager to become part of an original theatrical experience.

IMPORTANT CHECK-IN POLICY
Audition check-in will close promptly at 4:00 PM.
All performers must arrive and complete check-in before this cutoff. Individuals arriving after 4:00 PM will not be permitted to audition.
We strongly encourage performers to arrive early to allow sufficient time for registration and preparation.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
All performers attending our final open casting call should come prepared with the following:
* A 1–2 minute comedic or dramatic monologue of your choosing.
* A willingness to participate in group improvisation activities facilitated by members of our casting team.
* One current headshot.
* One current acting résumé.
Our audition process is designed to provide performers with an opportunity to showcase their acting abilities, creativity, personality, improvisational skills, and ability to collaborate with others.
We want every performer to feel welcomed, comfortable, and encouraged throughout the audition process.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Diva Airways: The Rise & Fall
A Three-Act Comedy-Drama
Welcome aboard Diva Airways, where the turbulence isn’t just in the skies!
Set at Harvey International Airport, the story follows outspoken and fiercely determined airline owner Miss Loretta Monroe, who is fighting to keep her beloved airline flying high.
But behind the polished image of Diva Airways, trouble is brewing.
Between financial struggles, workplace conflicts, complicated family relationships, unexpected friendships, corporate rivalries, and a few outrageous personalities, Loretta quickly discovers that keeping an airline in business may be the least of her problems.
Blending sharp comedy with compelling drama, Diva Airways: The Rise & Fall explores ambition, loyalty, family, sacrifice, and the sometimes unpredictable cost of success.
With memorable characters, emotional storytelling, and plenty of unexpected twists, this original production promises audiences an unforgettable theatrical experience.
AVAILABLE ROLES
We are currently casting three supporting roles for our upcoming production.
All available positions are paid performance opportunities.
COLIN – Supporting Role | Paid
Colin is Alexa Winters’ brother, a caring and family-oriented young man who brings an important emotional perspective to his sister’s increasingly complicated life.
As Alexa continues dedicating herself to Diva Airways, Colin struggles to understand why she has become distant from her family.
His appearance reveals unresolved family tensions and offers audiences a deeper understanding of Alexa’s personal struggles.
Casting Requirements:
* Pronouns: He/Him
* Playing Age: 16+
* Ethnicity: Caucasian or Latino/Hispanic
* Performance Stipend: $800
TIFFANY BELMONT – Supporting Role | Paid
Tiffany Belmont is the personal assistant to Miss Brooks, the intimidating CEO of rival Backcountry Airlines.
New to the airline industry, Tiffany has a remarkable talent for finding herself in situations she doesn’t entirely understand.
Her questionable fashion choices, misplaced confidence, and unpredictable personality make her an unforgettable presence in Miss Brooks’ demanding world.
Although Tiffany may occasionally appear clueless, she brings an entertaining combination of ambition, humor, and personality to the Backcountry Airlines office.
Her introduction also gives audiences a closer look into the operations, personalities, and behind-the-scenes conflicts taking place at Diva Airways’ biggest competitor.

BROOKLYN – Supporting Role | Paid
Brooklyn is the daughter of Miss Brooks, the powerful CEO of rival Backcountry Airlines.
Initially caught between loyalty to her mother and her growing involvement with Diva Airways, Brooklyn finds herself questioning where her true loyalties belong.
As she becomes more familiar with Diva Airways and its employees, she begins to recognize that the struggling airline may be worth saving.
Her character brings an important emotional dimension to the rivalry between the two airlines.

CALLBACKS ARE BY INVITATION ONLY.
Performers selected to advance in the casting process will receive additional instructions from our production team.
These instructions may include specific scene materials, character-related preparation, and additional performance exercises.
Callback performers may be asked to participate in scene readings alongside members of our current cast to help evaluate character interpretation, chemistry, and overall suitability for the production.
REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE COMMITMENTS
All performers interested in joining our production must be available for the following rehearsal and performance commitments.
Rehearsals Begin: Sunday, January 10, 2027
January – February 2027
Rehearsals will take place twice per week:
* Sundays – Afternoon
* Mondays – Evening
March 2027
Rehearsals will increase to three times per week:
* Sundays – Afternoon
* Mondays – Evening
* Tuesdays – Evening
Technical Rehearsals
April 4–7, 2027
Performance Engagement
April 8 – May 30, 2027
Performances will take place Thursday through Sunday.
Please note that a potential extension beyond May 30, 2027, may be considered depending on audience response, revenue, and overall production success.
Performers should carefully review these commitments before auditioning.
